What does it mean for our players?
| Current U-14 to U-17 Emerald City FC Players |
- “Seattle United” will encourage remaining Emerald City FC teams to voluntarily join “Seattle United”. Specific details remain to be determined.
- Under current PDL (Player Development League) rules both “Seattle United” and Emerald City FC teams would be ineligible to participate in that league. Our current U17 teams would be unaffected.
- Starting in Mar 2010, the number of teams and players remaining in Emerald City FC would be drastically reduced, which would severely impact the club’s ability to efficiently support remaining teams and players with coaching directors and administrative support.
