Emerald City Football Club is thrilled to announce its official acceptance into the Elite Academy (EA) League for the upcoming 2026–27 season. This significant step shows our commitment to providing the highest level of competition and development opportunities for our players, coaches, and families.
The Elite Academy (EA) League, known as one of the premier youth development platforms in the United States, is built on a foundation of innovation, competitive excellence, and holistic player growth. By joining this esteemed league, Emerald City FC will now compete against some of the nation’s best clubs, gaining invaluable experience and exposure on a national stage.
Key highlights of joining the EA League:
- Elevated competition: Our U13–U19 boys’ teams will participate in the highly competitive Pacific Northwest Conference, ensuring every game challenges our athletes to reach their full potential.
- Professional and collegiate pathways: This move creates clearer, enhanced pathways for players aspiring to compete at the collegiate and professional levels, including connections to MLS NEXT.
- Increased exposure: Players will gain exposure to college coaches and professional scouts through National Showcases and film analysis tools.
We are excited and proud to be joining the Elite Academy League to provide a platform and competitive environment for our players to play at a higher level. We believe our region needs more local clubs involved in developing the next generation of talent and we are excited to collaborate with both the league and like-minded clubs.
Emerald City FC’s inclusion in the EA League is a testament to the hard work of our players, dedicated coaching staff, and supportive families. We are excited to take this step forward and look forward to the opportunities this league will provide our athletes both on and off the field.
