ECFC Select Soccer Tryouts
We’re thrilled you’re interested in joining — or staying with — Emerald City FC! All current players and prospective new players need to register for tryouts. Tryouts are free for all age groups and teams.
To register for tryouts:
- Review youth soccer age group changes and take note of the “UXX” age group your player will be in for the 2026–27 season, based on their date of birth.
- Find your player’s tryout group below from among
- U11 to U14 Girls
- U15 to U19 Girls
- U13 to U15 Elite Academy (EA) Boys
- U11 to U15 WPL (Green/White/Blue team) Boys
- U8 to U10 Development Program
- Click the corresponding registration button, and log into (or create) your Teamsnap account to register. Tryouts are free.
- If your player is a U13, U14, or U15 boy who wants to be considered for both EA and WPL (Green/White/Blue teams) — in the event he is not offered an EA team spot or your family decides EA is not what you want, please complete the registration for each of the tryouts.
- Make note of the tryout sessions dates and times for your player’s group on this page and ensure they attend both sessions listed.

Financial Aid Program
We are committed to helping our players reach their potential. In keeping with this objective, we actively seek donations and engage in fundraising activities to maintain a scholarship fund. We use these resources to provide a limited number of need-based scholarships to talented players each season. If a player is selected at pre-season tryouts and their family simply cannot afford select soccer, please inquire with our club treasurer about scholarship requirements and availability, treasurer@emeraldcityfc.org.
